Death Announcement!

Hon. Philip K. Deah

The Deah Family announces, with deep sorrow, the sudden death of Honorable Philip K.W. Deah.  This sad event occurred at 9:00 PM on Friday, April 27, 2012 at the St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, USA.  Honorable Deah was former member of the Liberian House of Representatives from Grand Gedeh County.  He is survived by his wife, Nancy Deah; five children — Rebecca Deah, Easter Deah-Gaie, Dekontee Deah, Philip Deah, Jr., and Barmu Deah; several brothers, sisters, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives of the USA, Europe, Liberia, and other parts of the world.

Funeral service for Honorable Deah will be held in Chicago on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Freedom Temple of God in Christ Church at 4:00 PM.  The Church is located at 1459 West 74th Street, Chicago, Illinois, 60636.

The mortal remains of Honorable Deah will be flown to Liberia on Tuesday, May 22, 2012.  The body will lie in state in Monrovia for one night of wake-keeping before being taken to Zwedru, Grand Gedeh County for burial.
